Play in the surf and sand at Woolacombe Bay's amazing Golden Sands Blue Flag Beach. Our beautiful beach has been awarded the Blue Flag and Premier Seaside Beach awards year-on-year for its cleanliness and water quality.
The Blue Flag standard is only given to those beaches with the highest quality bathing water, good management, cleanliness and safety. Speedboats and jet skis are prohibited, thereby offering superb facilities for swimming, surfing, windsurfing, sailing and sea canoeing. | Have camped at one of the sites before. Stayed at another, in accomodation, this time. Park spread over four sites with a range of accomodation and facilities at each site, and transport provided between the sites, and to and from the excellent local beach. Choice of meal options to suit all tastes/budgets. Also, onsite providores for a good range of food and domestic products for those self catering. A wide range of free activities and entertainment, and options for the more adventurous/active to challenge yourselves even further. Age related clubs and activities also provided. Staff are very friendly and helpful, always willing to go that extra mile to help you get the most from your holiday. Woolacombe is a good location for a base, to use for day trips and excursions to local and regional attractions. Local beaches have high standards and facilities, have gained blue flag status again this year I believe, with good beach safety information and peak season life guard service, supervising two areas of the beaches, one for swimmers, ones for surfers/boogie boarders. We are looking forward to returning this year :) |
